Brandt Brauer Frick was founded in 2008 with the approach to unite repetitive and grooving formulas of electronic dance music with the sound world of contemporary classical music.
The BBC called the trio’s music ‘concert hall compositions for the clubbing generation’.
The band has so far released five studio albums, collaborating with artists like Nina Kraviz, Gudrun Gut, Catherine Ringer, Jamie Lidell, Emika, Agnes Obel, Vic Mensa and Frank Ocean producer Om’Mas Keith.
As a trio and together with their ensemble or even with a full orchestra, Brandt Brauer Frick have performed over 400 concerts in more than 40 countries in clubs, classical concert halls and festivals since, including Glastonbury Festival, Coachella, Montreux Jazz, Lincoln Center, Mutek, Sónar, Southbank Centre, Centre Pompidou, Kölner Philharmonie, Fabric and Berghain.
BBF´s sixth studio album „Multi Faith Prayer Room“ will be released in May 2023 on Because Music feat. Mykki Blanco, Marina Herlop, Sophie Hunger, Duane Harden amongst others. The immersive utopian installation with the same name debuted at ART BASEL MIAMI in December 2022 leading BBFs journey into the art world.
